Objectives:

-To work actively with Suspicious Pigeons to engage with their sound and help further it for an E.P recording. -To helm several studio sessions with the aim of getting demo’s, tracking and recording of a 4 track E.P.

-To produce a 4-track E.P recording. A recording that captures the sound, the clients desire whilst making sure that it is produced to a professional standard in terms of mixing, production and mastering.

-To produce an Electronic Press Pack included alongside the E.P recording. It will also include press photos, a band biography and a music video to accompany of the bands singles.

Aims:

-To understand and research the role of the record producer in crafting the sound of recordings, and the developments that have led to more and more people being able to ‘produce’ music themselves.

-To also research production and mixing techniques, as well as recording processes for the various instruments we will be recording in the studio, to help us obtain the best sound possible.

-To use my research to influence the way in which I produce the recording sessions with The Suspicious Pigeons, fully taking on the responsibilities of this role.
